Meet Sameer
When I moved to Goa and settled into this new place, one thing I really loved was the huge tree in my backyard with lots of greenery around.
The first few months were amazing. There was so much chirping and so many birds. Some of them even used to keep knocking on the window panes early in the morning. I'd just stand by the window and watch them, right after waking up or in between doing things.
At first I only made mental notes, like okay, this is a new bird, or I've seen 6-7 different birds now. Then I thought, I don't really know what I'm looking at, so I should get a camera and start capturing what I see. I set myself a target of photographing 50 different birds in a year. At the time of writing it's been almost a year and I'm at 40+, so nearly there.
And between the photos I took and the searches I did online, I've learned so much. So I decided to put all my photos here and keep adding to it.
Hopefully in a few more months and years this will grow a little more, and I'll look back and think what a wonderful time I've had here!
